I discovered the Dam Town Tavern when I was on a trip to Montana with my daughter and friend. It's in Hungry Horse, MT, a small town with a Dam...hence Dam town. Have to enjoy the humor there. It's a hole in the wall where you can get beers on tap for $2 and it's almost entirely composed of locals, usually less than a dozen every night. We hung out there one night when we weren't sure where we were going to sleep and met many of the locals, several of whom are Black Feet Native Americans, most of whom are regulars. If you want to meet some friendly locals in a dive atmosphere and drink cheap beer out of a plastic cup with no bells and whistles...this is your place. It was certainly our place while we were there.
